Who says math and science get to have all the fun?! It is our number one job to make sure your child’s learning experience is engaging. So, we include multi-sensory lessons, games, and learning activities not only as an evidence-based practice but this way, learning how to read can become an exciting and memorable journey for both you and your child.

Everything we do is backed by science. structured literacy and Orton-Gillingham is all the rage right now in reading intervention because it’s proving that children can learn how to read using a science, not a guessing game art. MSLA is uniquely designed using a scope and sequence that follows structured literacy and Orton-Gillingham.

Before every lesson, we include "moments of mindfulness" time to promote executive functioning and a calm, comfortable, and confident learning environment for your child. Without regulating the nervous system before learning, your child will not fully absorb new information, especially with negative learning experiences from the past.

Dual-certified K-6 and special education certified. Orton-Gillingham certified. Dyslexia certified. Multi-sensory literacy expert. Dog mom. Enthusiastic teacher.
I’ve seen first hand how multi-sensory literacy approaches (when done right) can completely transform a student’s literacy success.
When more and more parents started asking if I could take on their child to tutor, I knew it was time to make this approach accessible to all.
This membership is a result of thousands of hours spend understanding the code of the English language.
But, thankfully, it will only take you and your child less than 45 minutes to implement. The best thing is, I am taking all of the guesswork out for you as a parent. MSLA is low-cost, self-paced, and limited screen-time with proven results. Just show up and I’ll walk you through the process! It doesn’t get any easier than that.

The lessons are pre-recorded! This way, your child can rewind, review, and jump into any lesson as many times as they need!

It's recommended someone supervises your child at the start of MSLA! Once the expectations are set, you and your child will know exactly how navigate and manage their multi-sensory learning. We teach you how to set the expectations during the parent/ guardian onboarding session.

At this moment, no. You are responsible for printing out the games and purchasing any additional low cost multi-sensory manipulatives you allow your child to use during their learning (play dough, pipe cleaners, pop-its, etc.)

Technology has a time and a place (we're using it now 😉) but Covid put us all online and it's time to take that power back. Your child will receive a 5-20 minute screen time lesson that involves multi-sensory learning. Although the screen is on and a certified literacy specialist is teaching during those lessons, your child's work is hands-on and physical! The writing, decodable texts, and multi-sensory literacy games are offline completely. There are no online games, reading, or typing. In MSLA, children only use screen time to listen and watch the certified Orton-Gillingham expert model new teachings.
