My soul's purpose to give kids the tools to read. Because when we know how to read, we can create... and your child deserves to create an extraordinary life!
From a general education teacher, to seeing the lack of special education support in public schools and achieving my sixth-year certification, to tutoring in my spare time, then improving my practice as an Orton-Gillingham certified literacy specialist; I cracked the Science of Reading code and became a multi-sensory literacy expert to get my students with various needs reading in under 45 minuteS. Yep, IEP/ 504 included.
I’ve seen first hand how a science-proven multi-sensory literacy framework can completely transform any child’s reading.

WHAT IS ORTON-GILLINGHAM?
Effective instruction includes: explicit, systematic, intensive, multi-sensory, differentiated, and monitored learning. I use evidence-based methods for teaching literacy using structured literacy and Orton-Gillingham's methods by personally individualizing and customizing effective lesson plans that follow a carefully designed scope and sequence to close the gap between where your child currently is and where they need to be.
if your child’s tutor is not using structured literacy or orton-gillingham practices, they are teaching your child how to read using their intuition… which is great and all if you want to teach your child how to become a psychic. 😉
